Finishing a up a job from April of this year. This was a 14K Yellow Gold Ring from the 1940’s, but we stole its shank and used it on another ring. So it was left all alone and she had a loose diamond, so I formed a bezel and created a bail and soldered them both on. Set the stone and polished it up. Ta da! I love the east to west configuration, maybe it’s my personality, I like to be different. It works.
I make sentimental pictures of places I love. Sometimes I make pictures of places others love. This is my life. I make art. I am grateful to be able to do what I love to support my family during trying times as these. Thank you for looking. I am glad to make a picture of a place you love. Tell me about it. What makes it special to you? Local myths and secret spaces are my favorite. Iconography of a place interests me, history and memories are important to me. I try to make each painting an heirloom and conversation piece, every time you look at it, you see something new. :) ariel
